Powering Progress in Amherst: $8.6M Community Solar Farm Brings Energy and Economic Growth
Advancing Sustainability Through Smart Investment
A major step toward a greener Amherst has been completed with the development of a $8.6 million community solar farm by Amherst Community Solar LLC. Located on Schoelles Road, the 5 MW facility transforms 22 acres of underutilized land into a renewable energy hub, providing clean power to hundreds of local households and supporting statewide climate goals.
